Profile
Fatma is an Associate in the corporate department. Her work focuses on different industries and has experience in multiple legal discipline, general corporate matters, corporate structure. She also has experience in drafting and reviewing all types of commercial agreements securitization transactions. This includes conducting legal due diligence, legal research, preparing and evaluating transaction documentation.
Previously she advised clients on merger control matters in several jurisdictions in the MENA region, including merger control filing on behalf of clients working in several key sectors such as automotive, satellites, media and entertainment.
Moreover, she handled the drafting of Legal opinions on general corporate and competition law in the GCC and Egypt. In addition to her expertise in pre-merger control. She also advised on numerous mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and general corporate matters.
Ms. Fatma participated in several publications tackling anti-competitive behaviors as highlighted by the Egyptian Competition Authority, setting precedent and tackling RPM in vertical agreements, as well as an article on the increase of inter-agency cooperation in the Arab competition network.
Ms. El Nokaly obtained her LLB from IDAl – Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2018, followed by an LLB from Cairo University in 2019. She holds a master’s degree in international and European Business Law from Université Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne in 2021
